Instructions

Repeat: Rep Row 2 until the work forms a perfect square. (Fold one corner to the next—if it aligns, it’s a perfect square).
Fasten off.

Block 2: Rotate block 1 until one of the side edges is at the top. Fasten on in the corner.
Row 1: Evenly space 77 hdc along the side edge. Ch 1 and turn.
Row 2: Hdc tBLO of first st. *Hdc tBLO of next st. Rep from * to end of row. Ch 1 and turn.
Repeat: Rep Row 2 until you have the same number of rows as block 1.

Block 3: Rotate blocks 1 and 2 until one of the side edges of block 2 is at the top. Fasten on in the corner.
Row 1: Evenly space 77 hdc along the side edge. Ch 1 and turn.

Note: You will need to evenly space the slip stitches to block 1 to ensure you have the same number of rows as the other blocks. Skipping 2 stitches almost every time should help you stay aligned.
Repeat: Rep Row 2 until you have the same number of rows as blocks 1 and 2.

Block 4: Situate the work so that you can fasten on in the corner of block 3. Row 1: Evenly space 77 hdc along the side edge. Ch 1 and turn.
Row 2: Hdc tBLO of first st. *Hdc tBLO of next st. Rep from * to end of row. Ch 1 and turn.
Repeat: Rep Row 2 until you have the same number of rows as blocks 1, 2, and 3. Slst along the border of block 1 and block 4 to finish.
