Crochet Berry Stitch Blanket Free Pattern

If you love crochet projects that combine texture and beauty, the Berry Stitch Blanket is the perfect choice for you. This stitch creates a lovely raised effect that resembles tiny berries scattered across your fabric, making it both fun to crochet and wonderful to look at. The Berry Stitch is ideal for blankets because it adds a soft, squishy texture while still being lightweight.

This pattern is beginner-friendly and works beautifully with color changes. For this version, we’ll use Soft Lilac (Color A), Cream (Color B), and Dusty Rose (Color C) to create a soothing and modern palette. You can, of course, personalize the blanket with your favorite shades whether you prefer bold brights, neutrals, or soft pastels.

Whether you’re making it as a baby gift, a cozy lap blanket, or just a decorative throw for your living room, the Berry Stitch Blanket is a project you’ll return to again and again. The best part? The stitch repeat is simple, so you can easily adjust the size of your blanket to suit your needs.

Join with a SL ST to the first corner, fasten off, and weave in all ends.
