Materials Needed Yarn of your choice Crochet hook suitable for the yarn
Stitches Used Slip stitch (sl st): Used to join rounds Chain stitch (ch): Foundation chains and spaces Double crochet (dc): Main stitch for the pattern Single crochet (sc): Used for a clean finish
Instructions
Base – Starting Circle Make a magic ring, or ch 4 and join with a sl st to form a ring. Inside the ring, make 6 dc, separated by ch 2 between each stitch. (This forms the triangle’s base center.)
First Layer (Blue in the chart) Ch 3 (counts as the first dc), then make 1 dc in the same space. In the ch 2 spaces from the previous round, make: 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc. Repeat this in the next two spaces to form the three sides of the triangle. Close the round with a sl st at the top of the initial chain.
Second Layer (Red in the chart) Ch 3 (counts as the first dc), then make 1 dc in the same space. In the spaces between the groups from the previous round, make 2 dc. In the corners, make: 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc. Continue alternating between 2 dc in the side spaces and corner increases (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) to complete the triangle. Close with a sl st.
Third Layer (Green in the chart) Repeat the same pattern as the second layer: Make 2 dc in the side spaces. In the corners, make 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc. Continue evenly increasing to maintain the triangular shape.
Tree Base (Trunk) Locate the center at the base of the triangle. Ch 3, skip 1 space, and in the next space, make 6 dc stacked in rows (as shown in the trunk section of the chart).

Final Touches Ensure you turn your work as needed (marked as sold in the chart). Optionally, add a border of sc around the edges for a clean finish.
