3D Hexagons Blanket Crochet Pattern

Crocheting blankets is always a fun and creative way to add style and comfort to your home. This 3D hexagon blanket pattern creates a beautiful textured effect, making it the perfect project for anyone who loves unique designs. The hexagonal shapes give it a modern touch, and the 3D effect adds dimension. You can customize the size by making more or fewer hexagons, so it’s perfect for anything from a baby blanket to a larger throw. Let’s get started!

Materials:

  • Yarn: Use your favorite yarn weight. For this pattern, I recommend a DK or worsted weight yarn in various colors to create the 3D effect.
  • Hook: A 4 mm crochet hook (adjust the hook size to fit the yarn you’re using).
  • Tapestry needle: For weaving in the ends.
  • Scissors: For cutting the yarn.

Abbreviations (US terms):

  • ch: Chain
  • sl st: Slip stitch
  • sc: Single crochet
  • dc: Double crochet
  • fpdc: Front post double crochet
